THE SCHOLARSHIP

THE IDEA

 The idea for this legacy scholarship originated from Eileen herself who wanted to leave behind something that continued to help others and make the world a better place after she had passed away. After much thought and long discussions with her family and friends, she decided on creating a scholarship fund based on the values she believed in and how she lived her life.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

The scholarship supports college-bound seniors attending a Waldorf high school while they or a family-member are treating a medical condition with alternative therapies.

CARRYING OUT THE VISION

Education was always extremely important to Eileen and this scholarship allows her to continue her lifelong encouragement of higher education while supporting families with similar values.  Eileen passed away before the details of her legacy scholarship were finished, so her family completed what she started to ensure that the scholarship was finalized according to Eileen’s vision and goal. We are happy to honor Eileen and keep her light shining by presenting this scholarship to help families in need. 

The Eileen Pollack Silverman Legacy Scholarship is an annual award of $2,000, with $1,000 paid directly to the school for each semester of enrollment, up to eight semesters.
